I would like to know how many SDNers are applying to UNC-SOD with an F-1 visa status (intl student)?? It'll be extremely hard for us to get into UNC. I know we will be considered as out of staters, but if you have a permanent residency, you are not in my category..🙄 Only1~3 out of 81? and from predents.com those 1~3 intl students who got accepted past years had killer stats like 23AA and 3.9gpa unlike mine..🙁 (if I'm wrong or you know somone(intl) accepted with avg stats, let me know) Owell...we'll see what's going to happen in several months. Let me know if you are in the same boat!!

I have a couple of Korean friends who are applying to UNC this year, but all of them are green card holders (at least). I was told that a few accepted international applicants were under process of immigration status change.

My green card is also pending..It's been in the process like forever!! But I feel it's very close and hope to get it before fall 09.
It's too bad that It dosn't matter how close I am to my green card. As long as you don't have it, you don't have it, so you are an intl student..
