Anyone have any good data on this program or thoughts? It's a 1 year, which is appealing to me. Looking at it for after I finish my Army obligation. Thanks!

Many of the EMS Fellowships are 1 year in length. I cannot speak to the original question, as I have not been involved with UNCs EMS fellowship. I have been involved with 2 EMS fellowships that were each a year in length. Each EMS fellowship has strengths and weaknesses. Try to match you interests with their strengths.

It is easily one of the best fellowships in the country. Wake County EMS is one of the strongest EMS systems and an amazing environment to train in. They have some huge names in EMS there.

I have no ties there, but know several individuals and EMS attendings who did and can't say enough good things about it.

although UNC isn't in Wake County 🙂 - but agree they are one of the top EMS systems in the country

Location, location, location, especially with EMS. If you want to work in a certain location, pick an EMS fellowship there.
