I have a question that needs an answer that makes sense.

2yr old boy comes in with a week's history of painful swollen knee, 2x hematuria in past 6months. He also presents with bruises and hematomas on his elbows and pupura. Blood work is normal except for a raised PTT and a normal BT. The diagnosis of his condition can be made by injection of which of the following and why?

a) Factor VIII
b) Factor IX

Thanks😀

He means give a protamine injection, hes probably huffing heparin. Its all the rage down in the southeast.
