I'm a freshman in college and am still deciding on what I want to major in. As of right now I'm considering philosophy or history, both arts majors. However I know that I want to go to med school, and am volunteering at a local hospital. Med Schools don't care what you major in correct? As long as you have the science requirements, a good gpa, and MCAT? Or is there a sway for B.S. majors? Also, do they look at your cumulative gpa or just the sciences? Thanks!

Though Adcoms don't care for your major, major in what you care for. And there's actually a sway of B.A majors, look at the stats... They look at both GPAs.

It doesn't matter. Each major has about a ~40% acceptance rate.
