So currently I am in my 2nd year at cc majoring in business, and have taken all of my general elective classes etc. However, I would like to know how current or pre dental students with majors outside of science made their schedule (hope y'all understand what I'm trying to convey here). Like how did you manage to fulfill the pre-reqs courses during your undergrad years while also focusing on your major and getting your courses out of the way for your major???

I took my regular non-science degree classes online and attended the CC at night to complete my science pre-reqs all while working full time. When I finished my degree I transferred to a university full-time to knock out the remaining pre-reqs. If you're on a timeline and you need to get it done, you'll figure it out. Stack up the courses and work your ass off. Morning, day, night.

Remember you still have a year before matriculation into dental school after applying, so you can mark in-progress courses on your application to let schools know you're going to complete their pre-reqs. Forecast the courses as best you can, and keep your GPA up. Otherwise, rack 'em and stack 'em.

Best of luck.
If you don't mind...what was your major? And also how many science courses did you take before you transferred to the 4yr university?

B.S. Public Health: included a few introductory bio/chemistry/physics courses that didn't count toward dental school pre-reqs

Community College: Gen Chem 1, Anatomy & Physiology 1, Gen Chem 2, Anatomy & Physiology 2, and Orgo 1

UW was completely cool with the prereqs from CC?
