Undergrad school impact?

Just wondering how important the prestige of your undergrad school is. I go to a decent school, at least for the pacific northwest (western washington u) but could potentially go to UW or another school. wondering what i should do.

Basically; does it make a difference where you go?

Admissions people say that they take that into consideration. But looking at the people who get into dschool, GPA is a much more important factor. If you can get a 3.6 at average school A, I would do that instead of going to some competitive school where you'll struggle to maintain a 3.0.
