Does where you go matter?

HERE IS MY PROBLEM WITH SEARCHING: whenever I search this topic, Every thread talks about using the search function to find that thread that already exists. HOW THE HELL CAN I FIND MY ANSWER IF ALL THE THREADS I LOOK AT SAY TO SEARCH FOR THE TOPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It does, but not enough to worry about.

As long as you do well, get a good MCAT score, and take advantage of the opportunities for ECs (shadowing, research, clinical experience, etc) then you have a good shot at med school no matter what ugrad you attend.

No matter where you go, you will always be Egyptian. Much love. But to answer your question, just do the best you can; students come from all sorts of colleges I guess.

You might look into a historically black college so that you can be connected to your cultural ties.
