Ive applied to both and been accepted to both. Seeing as they are both in Maine, and hence the bitter cold, what do you think is the better school,

UNE

Husson

Since they are both private and neither do not have full accreditation at this moment, I would say UNE because it appears to be more prestigious as it accepts students with higher SAT scores. But you should also see which school environment caters to your needs the best. Which school can you see yourself become successful at?

Both are in the same position as far as accredidation (waiting for site visit) so no difference there. Portland is the biggest city in the state (100,000) so there is more to do Bangor (35,000) is in the center of the state so getting out of state will be tougher, but there is lots of outdoor stuff. UNE is focusing more toward research, while Husson is focusing more toward retail. Husson is cheaper at $25,000 per year. Guess it depends on which best fits your desires. When did you interview at Husson? Where did you do undergrad?

Husson Strengths:
Small class size (65) at small private university
A nationally renowned "pharmacy" education faculty
Competitive pricing for a private university
Teaching intensive not research intensive university
Integrative pharmacy education model
Utilize an inter-disciplinary model where students work with nursing student in an experiential setting
