Unfortunately, I think it's a violation of the NRMP Match Agreement to post information on unfilled positions since SOAP is still going on. The list will be available Friday.

Does anyone know if any of the unfilled spots were research track positions, or were they all just regular positions?

I'm pretty sure most of these places don't have research track positions. Maybe the 6th place that I forgot has a research track.

I think the sixth place was a UTSW 2013 position (it had an R code).

Actually there was another one: Johns Hopkins Hospital/Wound. I am not sure what is the difference between this and the Johns Hopkins derm program.

I still don't understand how derm spots remained unfilled. How does that work? Does this mean that these places will want to 'catch up' next year by getting more residents? 😕

Our PD said the spots that were "unfilled" were unfunded thus didnt even exist in the Soap...so no one could get one of those spots.

I'm not sure about that. I know that Dartmouth participated in the SOAP.

heard that New Mexico got filled through the SOAP as well.

also, anyone hear more about Maryland? curious if they were undergoing a temporary/permanent adjustment since hearing about them pulling all their spots from this year's match last minute? hope not - would be a pretty sh*tty drop.

as an aside, I heard that the Michigan residents are the best french kissers (guys and gals alike), Miami residents give the best high-fives, NYU residents have the best bathroom etiquette, Mt.
