I am current in my first semester of DPT. My question is has anyone transferred into another program when not happy with the one they are in? And what were the pre-reqs and procedures?

I don't think you can transfer. At best, you can quit your program and re-apply this cycle to different programs

It's not possible to transfer schools because each program is tailored so differently. I would suggest applying to other schools while still attending the program you're currently in. Once you've been accepted somewhere, then you can decide if it's worth it to start all over again or if you can tough it out and stay in your current program.

Would you mind sharing what you don't like about your program, or what you wish you had known about the program before starting? You don't need to mention which program it is, but sharing what you don't like about it could be really helpful for those of us who are still making decisions about which schools to apply to or attend. Thank you, and good luck with your situation.

The new Dept. Dir. is confused and keeps changing things or giving exams the prev person did without reviewing the info. Also, I am not sure about the location but, mostly how this certain Director is handling things. It is frustrating and causes alot of confusion.
