I was wondering when this would pop up. I heard internal meetings got canceled etc.

There’s a video from the hotel of it going down. Definitely looks like a professional hit to me.

He was well-known to be reticient and never attended the usual functions in Minneapolis for the industry. I don't agree with the news speculation that it's a personal insurance matter. I am deeply surprised that the shooter has not been caught yet given how extensive NYC surveillance is in the outdoors and the presence of the NYPD throughout that part of Manhattan.

It sounds like they have search warrants out. From what I’m gathering it sounds like they’re closing in.

I've matured to the point where I don't celebrate the deaths of people I don't like so this murder, assassination, whatever you wanna call it, is not something I'm gonna celebrate. But I must say, there is a tremendous lack of sympathy for this guy. Quite the opposite if social media is any kind of barometer. People are mocking his death.

Having said that, I'm not surprised to see these out of touch comments by billionaire twitter. Especially the reply to TJ's comment. That comparison is downright evil IMO.

While the motive is still not clear, the general reaction by people on SNS just shows how flawed our health system is.

I mean, in what other sector can you have a company that is universally hated by its customers, and yet be one of the most successful at the same time?

Hmmm, I’d say Cable companies share the hate + financial success

Late to the party: 25 years ago, when I was working in retail, UHC was one of the worst companies back then. We would actually tell people who presented their cards that it would probably not pay, and it usually didn't.
