Hi everyone,
I have been visiting this board for awhile but this is my first post. I am a 4th year US student applying to psychiatry. I have been offered interviews at Univ of colorado, Medical college of wisconsin, and Dartmouth so far. I was wondering if anyone has any information about either of these programs.

Hi again everyone,
I just searched this forum and found some information about colorado and Dartmouth, but not much about medical college of wisconsin. I will appreciate any information about MCW ( work hours, call schedual, resident satisfaction, teaching, etc.). Thanks.

whats the deal with dartmouth? they seem like a great program, but do they send invites out after only receiving scores and CAF bc of the 'remote' location?

The chair at MCW is great, so's the director of CL. They're all I know of the place, but if they're representative then it's probably well worth a look.

Use this link to look up more specific info on MCW and other programs.

I have heard that MCW has a fantastic chair (Laura Roberts, editor-in-chief of the journal Academic Psychiatry), and if you are interested in psychotherapy they have a resident-run outpatient clinic (one of just a handful in the US), where you get your own patients from PGYII onward. They have an extensive hospital system, many fellowship opportunities, and Milwaukee is a great place to live, both culturally and cost-wise (it's located 2 hours north of Chicago). The residents are very smart, diverse, and down to earth. Added bonus: they pay for your hotel, located just up the street from the interview site.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your interviews!

Thanks Doc samson and grishko.
I will share with everybody my interview experience, after I interview there.
