University of Houston application is now up! 😀

I have a question:
I have looked through it, and the only part I have found that vaguely resembles a personal statement, essay, letter of intent, etc. is the "Background" section, which is limited to 250 words about family educational history, parents' occupations, and language fluency. Am I missing something? Or is there really not a part on the application where you have to explain why you want to be a pharmacist???? This seems weird to me.

Excellent!! Thanks chuks_pharmD.

sorry, is this that new pharm school?

you send one in along with other short answered questions when you're invited to their interview.

UH doesn't require a personal statement. However, if they give you an interview, they make you fill out a personal statement, personal questionnaire, and peer evaluation form.

Personal statement is why you wanna go to pharmacy school
questionnaire dealing with who your lifestyle is, background experience, etc
peer eval is how you rank yourself on according to some things

It took me a few weeks to actually fill it out and be confident with all. They'll send you an email saying you have an interview and you have like 3-4 weeks to fill out all that stuff.

and no...its not the new pharmacy school...A&M Kingsville is the new one and thats like 8 or 9 hours away from Houston.
