university anesthesia program rank list

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
What, in specific, are you trying to determine? Best, or simply most popular?

The most popular programs tend to be the names you've heard of that happen to be in large cities (i.e. Northwestern, MassGen, etc).

The "best" is a question that nobody can answer because it's simply based on your personal goals. At Baylor, while working at the Texas Heart Institute, you will receive top-tier cardiac exposure, but only reasonable county-hospital OB exposure. So does that make it a top program? Depends on which lens you look through.

thank you so much for the reply, putyou2sleep!

i guess, i'm looking for those that are popular, what are others like Northwestern, Massgen?
meanwhile,
which programs provide with a fellowship after the residency? not provide...but easier to get into?..

thank you..

In general, most of the programs that have a very good med school have a very good residency program. It depends of what you want to go into, specifically what fellowship? CT, peds, pain, regional, neuro? Also, where you want to end up (long term) geographically may have a say in where you'd wanted to go to residency.

thanks, TrojanGopher!
i dream about pain management somewhere on east coast, but it's not that easy, obviously...

is this information about fellowships available anywhere?

The members of this forum would love to try to help you, brother.

But first you have to formulate a coherent question that makes ANY FREAKING SENSE AT ALL.

Hello,

Besides the very logical suggestions you got above to formulate better your question, you should know that this topic has been hammered in this forum multiple times in multiple threads, which will help you tremendously if you take the time to search. You may learn a lot from them and then fine-tune your question accordingly if you still have doubts.

Use the "Search" function in the menu of the forum, and if you wish, you can choose "Advanced Search" for more specific searches.

Greetings
