hello everyone,

I recieved an interview from the university at buffalo. I was wondering if anyone who already attended the interview can give me some feedback on what questions to expect or anyother stuff. Also if you already got accepted can you share your stats and how long did it take them to contact you after your interview. These questions goes for current PharmD students at well.

Hey... we can't tell you what they asked during the interview but they were all very friendly and told us the wednesday after the friday interview!!

I actually thought i did terrible on the interview because i was so nervous but i ended up getting in! Make sure you make good eye contact.. they stress it at the beginning of the day. And if you cant think of an interview answer right away, take your time or even ask them to repeat the question (i had to and it prolly saved me from talking gibberish).

I have a 3.71 GPA... 3.69 science gpa... and 86th percentile on the pcat...
(Not amazingly great stats compared to some crazy people on here, but it got me in =))

It is an amazing stat!! i have a 3.51 gpa and a 3.4 science gpa...76 composite on the pcat.

When is your interview?

Since you already have an interview, you just have to relax and try to interview as best as you can.

I like to think that once you have an interview everyone is on the same playing field, and what you do on interview day truly dictates the decision.

Congratulations on your interview! My UB interview was just this Friday and I got the acceptance email yesterday. Their decision was so fast, I was shocked. I was already surprised to get invited for an interview in the first place since my PCAT was rather horrible (60 on Bio but a weird 95 on verbal) and my science GPA is not so stellar either. Plus I live in San Diego so I thought they might think I'm just randomly applying to all the schools or something.

Interview was really relaxed. Mine was with the Asst Dean and an Alumni. They were both so nice and friendly. They only asked me questions for about 10 minutes and that was it. Uhh...they also very enthusiastically convinced me to visit the nearby Wegman's coz apparently it was the bomb. LOL. Tons of food (pizza/wings/cookies/brownies) were served at the end of the whole thing which was cool coz we were all starving.
