I hear California is traditionally a very intense place to be a premed and get into medical school. But so far, my only 2 interviews are from UCs (UCLA and one lower tiered UC). I should add I applied late having my primary verified mid september.
Is this strange tho? Do you think I can expect more interviews from out of state such as a few ivy league schools? I didn't mention anywhere in my entire application any sort of desire to stay in CA. Also, my LizzyM score ~ 75.
