Does anyone know if UC holds interviews? I haven't seen anything about interviews posted so I am assuming not but wanted to make sure. Also, does anyone know when they will be sending out admissions decisions? I saw the email that they had a change in staff and didn't know if anyone had asked how this will impact the timeline of when we find out.

They do not hold interviews. They told us they'll send the first "wave" of interviews in December sometime (not sure exactly if that's early, mid, or late December). If you don't get first round, however, you do not get notified if you are on a waitlist. They simply keep you in limbo until you're either accepted or rejected.

Has anyone who has been accepted to UC received the letter in the mail or just through email? In the email it sounded like we were going to receive something in the mail that we would have to send back but I haven't received anything so now of course I'm worrying they accepted me by mistake :bucktooth: lol

I received a formal letter in the mail--however, it came to my college address not my home address so double check that if you have two different addresses like I do- if not, you may want to give their office a call!

I know there were a couple of forms we needed to mail in by December 19th, and the deposit we eventually have to pay, but is there anything else we need to send back to them before January? I'm currently on vacation overseas and won't be able to check my snail mail until the 30th. Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything important. Thanks!

Nope, I think the only other thing was the background check due in February and sending transcripts which they didn't give a deadline for.

Did you receive an email and also the letter in the mail? Or just the letter in the mail?

If the verbal commitment and deposit are due a month apart, why would anyone NOT commit. You have nothing to lose?

Does anyone know if UC has sent out any additional decisions since their office reopened?

I haven't heard anything from them, but due to their rolling admissions, we may not hear back until April or later.

I know I was just curious if they had sent out another wave of decisions yet.

To my knowledge, they have not.

Edit: To clarify, I go to UC. A lot of our undergrad professors also teach in the DPT program, so we're kept in the loop (slightly) more than everyone else.
