How many people had their interviews at UConn? I don't see too many updates under interview section. For the intervied, can you tell us what kind of questions they asked, how the atmosphere was, and how you prepared. PLeazz, I am so anxious.

thanks in advance

I've gone, and I put up feedback on this site too. I went on 10-15, so go check it out and let me know if you have any other questions....

Thanks for the reply!! I actually found your post to be very helpful.

When they asked you how many schools you applied to, did they ask what your top choice was? I wouldn't know how to answer that question, because it's not my #1 school bud #3 and I applied to over 20 schools.

I have scheduled mine on Nov. 12th. I'm really anxious too since it will be my first interview. Thanks hattrack, your interview feedback post seems like the only one so far for this cycle.

Don't forget that your preferences will very likely change a lot once you have gone on all your interviews. It's amazing what we believe a school to be from researching applications and what it ends up being like in person. A true but satisfying answer to that question is always, "I only applied to schools that I would be thrilled to attend and am using the interview visits to learn more about each one."

Your reply to the question is so eloquent 🙂

Like fillingfine said, I told them that I applied to the schools that I felt most compatible with and the ones I was most interested in. I then went on to say that I had been extremely impressed with what UCONN has to offer, and then I mentioned some other schools I applied to. I also agree about how much your mind will change after interviews. UCONN was also like a #3 or #4 school before my visit. But after recieving information, getting a tour, and talking to students, I've completly changed my thoughts about UCONN. I have become extremely interested with its program, and it will be a very tough decision if I am accepted. On the flip side, the school that I thought was my #1 has now moved down somewhat because of the feeling I got during the info session and tour. That's why I highly recommend going to any school of interest that you were invited to. I got invited to UCLA, and initially I wasn't going to go because of price to travel. Now I realized how much your mind can change from being able to see the school and talk to people in person. Good luck and let me know if you have other questions...

bumping this post. does anyone else want to share their experience, especially the people who interviewed on the 2nd of November?

I have my interview tomorrow so I'll post some feed back after it's over.
