Congrats! When did you interview and when did you find out?

Congrats guys! Do you guys know if there's a Facebook group out there?

Zeecon, will you be attending?

I submitted my deposit as well, but that is because I had to make my decision so early! Still waiting on other schools, but as of now I will be there in June!

Just curious which schools are you waiting on and would choose over UDel?

I will be putting in a deposit, and am 99% sure I will go there. The only thing that would change my mind is if I am offered a spot closer to home, for much lower tuition, and still has a decent program.

Ohhh gotcha, good luck! Hasn't there been 3 interview sessions for Delaware already? Where are the rest of you guys?? Don't be a shy lurker! 😉

I have my interview Nov 30th with UDel... What am I facing, or any tips? What kind of questions do they ask, and any curve-balls?
Thanks for any help or info you can offer!

No curveballs. The interview day was straight forward. The whole point is for them to get to know you, and for you to have an opportunity to visit the school. Be yourself. They ask general questions, like why PT.

Rad! Thanks!!

I sent in my deposit a few weeks ago! So stoked to be done with that horrid application process and know I'll be in a program next year 🙂 excited to meet you all!

I just sent in my deposit as well and am waiting to hear back from in-state schools!

Hey guys, I have been struggling with a dilemma and figured someone else in here might be in the same boat as me. I have been accepted and sent in my deposit to Delaware and am very excited about it! The only thing is that I am out of state and did not receive a scholarship so it is very expensive. I was recently accepted to another program and offered a substantial scholarship, making Delaware significantly more expensive. I like Delaware's program a lot, I am just not sure if it is worth that much extra money in loans. Does anyone have a similar situation or any insight? Thanks!

Yes - definitely in the same boat, and made a decision. I had already put a deposit down at UDel, with no scholarship, just like you and had to decide between Delaware, Duke (same situation as Delaware - expensive as hell), and VCU (my in-state school). After weighing the pros and cons of each school, I could not justify the cost of Delaware or Duke. Yes, I may be happier now, but I would hate to have to pay close to $900 more a month for 30 years to attend one of the OOS schools. Just wasn't worth it, especially when VCU is a great program and a DPT degree will be worthy from any school. Hope that helps!

Hey everyone, I just found this thread.... I'll be attending UDel with all you in June as well ! does anyone know when they send out housing info ?
