Can someone shed some light on this..this is just based on the numbers gathered for in state FL students only for UFCD..

From ADEA official guide as per the stats of entering class of 2023
out of 669 applicants, 200 got interviewed

I am not sure how many IS got accepted for entering class of 2023, but lets say if the number is the same as entering class of 2022 which is 114 (as per this thread) for example (even though number of IS applied increased from 612 to 669, from entering class of 2022 to 2023 respectively)

so out of 200 IS interviewed 114 got accepted ?

Does this mean that for the entering class of 2023, for every 2 IS interviewed, 1 got accepted ??

The IS 200 interviewed seems very low I guess....

In state schools generally have lower IS interviews because usually the In state student is going to choose their state school because of the significant cost reduction in tuition. The same can be said for my school.

Ok thanks for clarifying.

Do know from where this statistic is gathered from and is there one for entering class of 2023 ?

IS: 612 Applied, 114 Accepted

It is from the class of 2026 (published in 2022) ADEA student guide. These numbers have been reported to ADEA from UF. No, there's no numbers for class of 2023. The guide skips every other year. The next year will be data from class of 2028 (2023-2024 cycle).

Hello, I got an interview from uf. Do stats matter once you get the interview? Also many people do they interview? As a low stat applicant how can I stand out?

I interviewed early November at UF and someone in admissions told me that by then that had interviewed 260 or so people, and my interview group was talking about having heard it was 1 in 4 interviewed who got an acceptance.

I do believe stats matter post-interview still. UF takes everything into consideration. They can be very picky. I unfortunately don’t have any suggestions on how to stand out, but be very well prepared for the interview. They were very scrutinizing and cutthroat with me in my interview so just don’t let your nerves get to you and be well prepared!

Thanks for the insight but I was wondering only about IS since it’s a different statistic. Did you mean there were 260 IS interviewed as of November 2023 ?

I also just got invited to fill out the supplemental application today as an IS applicant.

Has anyone received an interview after submitting the supplemental around mid-late October?
