Anyone heard anything other than your application is being reviewed? I'm out of state, so I am pretty much just ready to see a rejection, but I was just curious if they had sent interviews at all.

Hey, I'm a FL resident and I received an interview from UF via email on August 2! I was in the 6/27 batch. I don't think you should worry yet. It's still pretty early in the game. Best of luck with everything 🙂

Congrats! May I ask how the scheduling process was (phone call or email)? Did they let you choose the day, or were you limited on dates?

Thank you! I'm extremely excited 🙂 They sent me an email with the link to their secondary and the interview date already set (no options).

Phew! You're the first person I know to have heard anything from UF. What was your mailing date?
Also, when is the interview scheduled for? (sorry for all my questions...UF is my #1)

My mailing date was June 3rd. The interview is August 10th (UF is known for their short notices for FL residents). They sent me my secondary at the same time of my interview; it was all in one email on August 2nd. They said to have my secondary submitted before my interview date. Hope you guys hear great news from UF soon!

That is awesome. I am out-of-state as well and just hoping for some news about interviews from UF. I just hope its not as short notice as that. Because I am pretty busy the next 2 weeks so if I do get an invite I really hope it is in sept.
Just so you guys know...some FL residents won't get an interview automatically with a secondary. Last year it took about 2 weeks between me submitting the secondary and getting an interview invite.

I appreciate the response. I was just wondering because I haven't received a secondary or anything. Like I said, being out of state, I'm not getting my hopes up, but UF is definitely one of my top 2 or 3 choices.

the first one is pretty easy and straight forward except in the section where you list all the colleges you attend. They ask for the degree and the dates attended and then the date which through me off. I just put the date that I will be graduating.
the second one has an essay question. Its asking for a personal statement addressed to UF but it cannot be the same one that we submitted to AADSAS. I am just thinking "Great, another personal statement". I hate having to write these things.
