University of Illinois at Chicago DPT

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Don't worry, you're not the only one. I too applied to UIC and have not yet heard back . Hopefully soon?

I got an email after submitting my application saying that they have received all of my materials and I will get a decision by late December.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your guys' stats?

Has anyone heard anything yet? I'm so nervous I can't even stand it..

waitlist- anyone know how many are on their waitlist or any details? Annoying when schools don't rank the list!

Accepted- declining. They require a decision by January 21st.

Got my email and phone call 🙂

One of my mentors is a grad of UIC and said the manual therapy education is top notch. He spoke very highly of his confidence in it and the UIC reputation in this field.

The only improvement he suggested was a clinical schedule more in line with what other PT schools do - a little more exposure earlier.

I'm hoping the accepted student day helps me make the best decision between UIC and NU.

I'm looking forward to UIC open house now more than ever.
NU was nice, but I can't justify the cost. UIC is much more reasonable, even for OOS.

Hi! Lmck2790 I am planning on applying to UIC this summer. Would you mind sharing your stats? Feel free to PM me. Sorry if this is too prying. Good luck with everything!

Got my email about acceptance today!

Since the rest of my schools all hold interviews in Jan-Feb, I'm thinking about sending a deposit to UIC, just in case.

Withdrew my spot. Hope this helps someone!
