I have an interview on 1/19 at UIW. It seems to me that there are no post about UIW from previous or prospective students. I was wondering if anyone had an interview at this school or knows anything about it? Any information would be great. Thanks!

Did UIW receive a full 10 year accreditation? That is what I would ask. I have heard great things about UMary.

They are in candidacy. Looks like in the interview process they were heading towards the right direction. O really? What about UMary did you hear about?

How many people were at the interview? is it a group interview?

I went to an interview at UIW. I wasn't accepted, but honestly I didn't like the school. I was thinking that if I attended this program it would be a real slog for four years. I was just imagining myself taking classes and studying in that shopping center location. Also, I thought parts of the interview process were stupid - like they were focusing on things that weren't really important. Just my two cents.

I'm also kind of mystified as to why I wasn't accepted. I'm looking at other people who say they've been accepted by UIW. I have a higher GPA, higher test scores, and a more relevant major than someone who was accepted. WTF. I mean, I have very good recommendation letters, and my essay was at least decent. The interview wasn't so hot, but still.

This guy scored a 140 on the verbal section and was accepted? I scored over 160 on the verbal section and was rejected. I also scored higher in the math section and have a higher GPA. Oh yeah, I also have more volunteer hours. What the hell is up with that? Yeah I'm bitter and I don't mind saying so. I also wasted several hundred dollars in travel expenses to attend that interview. What a dehumanizing process. **** you, UIW.
