I've been told by one of the psych faculty at my school that Sheppard-Pratt is one of the stronger therapy-focused programs along the East coast. Also, IIRC, the PD (or president, or some higher-up) was the former head of the APA. Your time is split between Sheppard Pratt, which is in the suburbs of Baltimore, with the UofMD hospital in town. I'm guessing that's advantageous since you get exposed to several different patient populations, and given that learning from your patients is what residency is all about, I like it. I certainly found it worthwhile to apply to this program (though I haven't heard back from them yet!).
