University of Miami Class of 2019

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Do you know how many acceptances they sent out? I interviewed 11/20 and haven't heard anything yet.

The email says, "You must confirm your seat by mailing in the response form with a $500 nonrefundable deposit within 10 days of receiving your official letter of admission." Does that mean 10 days from the email date or 10 days from the day we receive it by mail? I have not yet gotten it by mail which is why I am asking.

I'm pretty sure it's 10 days from when you get it in the mail. They send it by certified mail, so they know when you get it, and there's a form you have to send back.

I just spoke with the department - they said you can print the attached letter in the email and use that if you want to get your deposit out ASAP 🙂 That's what I did today.

I have an interview for U Miami on January 15th. Could anyone give me an idea of what to expect? Was it stressful or calm? Any input is greatly appreciated! 🙂

Congratulations! In all honesty it wasn't stressful at all. I actually really enjoyed the entire process. My interview - and I've heard similarly from others - was a conversation and really enjoyable. Not a single question was asked actually, we just talked! The current students are all extremely friendly and there is no feeling of pressure. You're going to do great and you'll love it!

Has anyone else received acceptances yet?

I'm still anxiously awaiting an email from them!
