University of Michigan Interview Questions

Don't worry, just be yourself and answer honestly. Read the interview feedback section. AND take that bottled water they offer you because you will be talking ALOT and your throat will get dry

take it from me (just had my michigan interview this past friday), it is one of the MOST fun experiences I have ever had at a dental school lol.

Those MMIs are not there to harass you with your answers, you can say WHATEVER you feel is right answer, all they do is listen to you, and sometimes ask you a few questions here and there to get you to think more thouroughly. Out of the 10 interviwers, I say I impressed 7 AT LEAST, the other 3... well, I know I screwed up one and the other 2 are a toss up lol

But seriously, there is NOTHING to worry about. The case scenarios DESCRIBE EVERYTHING to you.... so for example, the scenario would have a title "Amalgam Fillings" ... the scenario would describe what amalgam is, what are some of the political views that are for it, what are some that are against it, and then the question will ask you "what do you think are the pros and cons based on this reading"..... its very straight forward and like I said before, there is no right/wrong answer here.

true that. that interview process was fun but pretty exhausting.. i killed my water after the 3rd or 4th station and it was painful. prompts were pretty straight forward so yea reading up on issues will def help you on certain things but its not necessary

almost every single prompt is at least mentioned in the interview feedback for the school... I really enjoyed all of the people who interviewed me, and the school in general, ten 8 minute interviews is mildly exhausting but somehow I agree with Dentalworks in that it was actually fun - have any more questions you can pm me

how many station with scenario questions?

how many with general questions? is it 1 or 2 station?

I disliked it, bro. It was haaaaaaard haha. You have to talk for 8 minutes and give your opinion, pros, cons, etc. 10 stations, 10 interviewers. Great school though, and it's located in the super beautiful city of Ann Arbor 🙂
