So far- I really enjoy it here. The only thing I have to caution you about is their new integrated medical science class--basically, they're smashing like 9 different science classes (histology, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, immunology, etc.) into 1 giant class. So- they have different profs that come in and give lectures which makes it seem like they're guest lecturers. Our class is the first to experience the "full blown" version-so there are lots of kinks that needs to be worked out as far as making things connect/relate to each other more. As far as the people and professors go- they're all great! I've had some pretty good profs during undergrad....the ones here are comparable or some even better! They're all funny and very personable. They all do genuinely care and want to help you. The new stimulation labs is also wonderful (and new). The school and Apple Computer had worked out a deal this year that we can record lectures and download them on itunes so we can listen to them on our computers or ipods. (but it's not an excuse to skip classes of course...) but it provides an opportunity to catch some info that was missed during lecture. If there're specific questions you have, feel free to PM me. I probably won't check back to this post.

Personally.. I enjoy U of M.. as far as the integrated classes go I like that much better than taking all of those classes seperate. My major in undergrad was Biomedical Science.. so I had to take all of these seperate courses at the same time usually. But it's a great school and you do get clinic experience for those of you who say we dont. Yes there are opportunities for research but trust me that is not the only thing that Michigan has to offer.
