This has to be, by far, the most brutal essay question I have encountered thus far:

"How might your perspectives and experiences enrich the quality and breadth of the intellectual life of our diverse community and enhance the dental profession?"

Yeah I had to reread that one a few times as well. And they only want 300 words to go with it.

that's my main concern. it's tough to write something for such an ambiguous question and keep it to such a minimum.

so how do your perspectives enrich stuff?

i just wrote stuff about my research experience and my being a Canadian applicant. basically just a bunch of stuff that hopefully they wanted to hear.

wait..i was under the impression UMich doesn't have a secondary, and I just checked as well. It seems as if they don't. Am I missing something here?

From Michigan’s website:

Q Does the University of Michigan require a supplemental application?
A Our supplemental application consists of an essay question that will be emailed to you upon receipt of your AADSAS application.

In my short time as an applicant I have learned to always check the school’s website. AADSAS doesn’t list everything on their supplemental list.

its actually nice that its so broad...there are so many different things you can touch on.

i actually enjoyed writing this one, and it didn't take as long as some of the others
