University of Minnesota says
I recommend taking the DAT after you finish your organic chemistry courses. For the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, it is best to get all of your materials in by September 1 of the year prior to matriculation (for example, you should have your materials in by September 2005 if you are applying for the Fall 2006 class). If you have to retake the DAT you have to wait 90 days between retakes.
does that mean they also expect my DAT score by September1 or just the application until Sept1 and then want DAT later?
I sent this email to them because I take organic chemistry when I am Junior so I wanted to know when is the best time for me to take DAT and DAT retake. If September 1 st is the last day and I should take DAT retake latest of about August 25th, then I should register about August 1st, so then DAT test for the first time is going to be about May, and that's before I finish Organic Chem 🙁
