University of Mississippi psychiatry residency insight?

I've searched through previous threads and have had trouble finding much info about this program. I ask because I'm having conflicting interview dates and unsure of which one I should drop.

I ran across some info mentioning they were on probation a few years back, but no real specifics or info otherwise. Somebody that graduated from their med school and who lived in Jackson, MS, whom I met on an interview in another state, basically told me to "stay away" from the program and area entirely. They mentioned something about a couple of residents quitting and high crime in Jackson, but I didn't have much time to get any further specifics.

Anyways, if anybody has any insight/review about this program, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks...

I mean, how much more specifics do you need to know that it’s not a good place to train?

A couple of the psych residents moonlight at my hospital, they both seem to have gotten good training
