Hey guys,
Much has been posted about some good programs like Penn, Yale, Stanford, UCLA, MGH, etc.. I have yet to read much about Pitt....
Great research, multiple floors dedicated for each illness, tons of patients, busy psych ER, their own free standing hospital, very strong financial condition.... It was definitely the most impressive of the programs I interviewed at concerning patients, research, and opportunities to follow your own individual career.
Any thoughts? Anybody else considering them as their top choice?

I interviewed at Pitt a year ago. Definately impressive with endless opportunity regardless what field you're interested in. They were definately high on my list.

However, I was a bit turned off by the size of the program. The residents didn't seem to know each other that well. Overall, I would say it was a less tight-knit group compared to other places.

But overall, very strong and well respected.
