Hi. I was wondering if anyone had any info on the program at USF good or bad. I have not been able to find anything on SDN. Thanks and hope to hear from you!
I know this is an old post, but I decided to reply because it is the first post that comes up when searching for the USF PM&R program.
We are a small program with only two spots per year and the program is categorical match for those two spots. We rotate mainly at JA Haley VA, Tampa General, and some USF clinics.
I am currently a PGY3 in the program and in the time I have been here our program has undergone a number of changes, and at the risk of being biased, pretty much all for the positive. We regained our affiliation with Tampa General and we now rotate with physiatrists at TGH 4-6 months out of our year. We have expanded our outpatient rotation schedule, our didactics have increased and there has been a refocus on resident education throughout our program. Our new program director has really made it a priority to focus the program on residents and enhance our quality of edcuation. If any one has any questions about the program, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].
