Thankfully I have been accepted into both of these universities. I live in California, but I would like to know your input on Augustine vs. NOVA hybrid. Please, let me know if anyone here planning on attending to NOVA and why would you choose their program? Thanks.

Uni. of St. Augustine: 2.5 years, 13,816 per trimester ( 7 total), manual therapy certificate upon graduation

NOVA hybrid: 4 years, 20,000 per year, Florida, not know much about the program...

I'm biased of course, but it depends on what you're looking for in a program. If you want the MTC, then obviously that's an advantage of going to USA. Both programs are going to cost you around $80k (if you go to Florida), so you won't save money either way. Have you visited either school?

Thank you for your response. Money is not a big of a factor to me. I have visited USA's campus and I really liked it. But I am a little concern about the program being fast pace, 2.5 years and their graduation rate. Are you currently attending DPT school?

Why are you concerned about USA's graduation rate? As far as I know everybody who enters the program ends up passing one way or another. The program is accelerated but they have a part-time option that will allow you to complete the program in three years. If you're a career changer, I recommend that course. If you don't pass a course here, you simply take it the next trimester and keep moving.

I would go to St. Augustine, I've heard nothing but bad or mediocre things about the hybrid program... it doesn't seem like it's been around long enough to work out the kinks and, if you don't have a reason to go to school part time (like family, work, etc), I wouldn't.

To me, this one is a no brainer. I would choose USA over the hybrid program any day. As far as the hybrid program goes, a LOT, if not all of the program is online, and to me, that screams disaster! I'm not sure if I would be able to grasp everything with that route. Also, it's 4 years!

Thanks Everyone!!! I guess I just needed a little booster, so I got it. Going for St. Augustine...🙂
