Are any of you working as a CNA and taking a full-time course load at a college/university?
I'm thinking about getting my CNA at a nursing home plus I enjoy working with the elderly.. But I am wondering if it would be too much for me.. I am in need of money and direct-patient care exposure.

I work as a patient tech at a hospital, which is similar to a CNA. I also have my CNA license. I go to school full time and work 12 hour shifts on the weekends. To be honest, it's great patient exposure, but the pay isn't great and yes, there are A LOT of diaper changes (and it is back breaking work!). I thought about EMT but didn't have the time to do that in addition to my BS so I went the CNA route and got my license in 1 month.
