university vs. university affiliated programs

I have sent out my application to both types of programs. Can anyone tell me the pros/cons of accepting a position at one vs the other? Thanks for the info-I really appreciate any insight on this.

ps- any thoughts on the University of New Mexico, University of Arizona or Maricopa County programs?? 🙂

I know a psych intern at Arizona. He was pretty bright and had pretty much could've gone anywhere. He picked 'Zona because its a very solid program in an awesome college town (a college town w/ a population of 1 million 🙂
