hello. anyone here applied to UNLV dpt program for the fall 2013 admittance? if yes anyone heard anything besides an email saying they have recieved your application? any info is much appreciated, thank you!

I applied, but haven't received anything back. Not sure I'll go to the interview though, as I have other schools that I value more that already accepted me.

I applied too. I talked to Dr. Gillis & she said they would start contacting mid-January for February interviews.

I'll keep you updated once I've heard something.

I received a similar email and contacted Dr. Gillis that same day. The next day I received an email from "Betina" saying that the matter had been resolved. I didn't do anything, but okay!

Sounds like they all have problems. I called in and it was resolved basically on its own. No real problems.

Same thing happened to me. The problem was resolved on its own. Seems kind of odd to me.

Since this has happened to all of us, I'm going to assume it's some kind of tactic to find out who's interested or something weird like that. So they don't have to interview people who don't want it. Until someone posts that they didn't get this that's what I'm guessing.

Strange. Yes, this happened to me too. I emailed Dr. Gillis very quickly and she responded within a day saying that my UNLV Graduate College application was pending (?), but that the matter had been resolved. Maybe they had some weird glitch with their system!

Post-Bacc GPA: 3.69 (70+ units mainly in sciences)
GRE: 159V 155Q 4.0AW
Prior B.S. in Elementary and Special Education

175 volunteer observation hours (100 in peds, 50 in inpatient rehab hospital, 25 outpatient)

Many extracurriculars in college and since I've been out of college (grad in 2007) I've worked in non-profit management and currently in education.

At least you are high up on the waitlist. I bet being that high up you will get in! I know someone who is a little lower on the waitlist and he said they normally take 10 to 30 off of the wait list. Good luck and hope you get off soon so we can be classmates!
