UNLV interview feedback anyone?

Hi everybody,
I checked for any feedback from interviews at UNLV, but there are none.
Can somebody who has already interviewed there help me out by just talking about their experiences?

Not asking for any specific questions here, but just if they divert from the regular questions, like, "Why Dentistry" etc. Since there are 2 interviews on the same day with 2 different interviewers, was a little freaked out.

two interviews, yes... but one's a student interview... who only gets to see ur essays... pretty relaxed. the other interview with the prof is pretty laid back too. no need to worry. 🙂

stay at the stratosphere... its almost free at $28/night.

despite the fact that unlv is in lv... it is a great school. i had very good conversations with both my interviewers and i came away much more impressed with the school than i thought it would be. it shot straight up from a low-tier choice to a high-tier one in my list. gluck 😀

Funny you mention the Stratosphere, I just found the 28$ room yesterday night and booked it! 🙂 thanks for replying though! Really excited for the interview, even though I prefer CA schools, I don't mind going there as I have heard great things about UNLV!

also if your flying in i suggest renting a car. The cab ride from the airport to stratosphere is $20 plus tip each way.

if youre from california, might be very economical to just take a bus (i know a lot of chinese-run companies do this, i.e. bravo travel) for $40-$60 round trip. buses have many stops... so to walk to the strat from a close-by hotel is easy

Don't think UNLV interviews on Wednesdays, so 29th is not possible. Maybe you are interviewing there on the 30th, I will be there this Thursday too.

Btw I'm an Indian girl, so will see you there.
