Has anyone heard anything as of late? When is the next adcom meeting? Has anyone who interviewed in February got accepted, rejected, waitlisted? How do they let you know? Sorry for all the questions, but any input would be great!

Hey there, I got a rejection last night (3/3/06) via email...

I talked to the admissions office on Thursday and they said they were meeting yesterday (friday) to decide the next round. They actually said we could call on monday to find out if our status has changed.

That's what Dr. Ancajas told me too. So I think we could be hearing some good news on Monday. 🙂

Congrats! I tried calling yesterday but got the machine. I guess I will try again! Did you interview on Feb 2? I thought they said we would know by the 23rd! No news is good news I guess?

I called and was told the committee has made no decision regarding my file. 🙁 I interviewed Feb 2nd, so let me know what you find out? I'm not a resident of Nevada. Congrats JOHNUNLV, I interviewed the same day as you.

Thanks guys, yeah I interviewed on Feb 2nd, they said the admin committee would meet on the 23rd, but then pushed it back to March 2nd, so if you call today they should tell you your status. If you get the machine, just keep calling every 20 minutes.

Yeah, so I called today (7th) and I am in the same boat as you are. She said the committe will meet again in approx. 3 weeks. Do you think that this is better than being waitlisted or worse?

No one really knows, but from my perspective I would say better, because they are going to look at you again, when you get waitlisted you arent being looked at again unless they need to fill gaps.
