I talked to someone in admissions about sending in my updated ECs since I conpleted my application. They informed me that an email would be considered and added to my file.
I just submitted my academic update, so I am trying to decide whether I should send in my EC update now or wait to add ~ 35 more hours of already scheduled volunteering in 2 weeks. I could list that I had so many volunteer hours planned in the email, but I was hoping to be able to say that I had volunteered at this free clinic for 65 hours since I applied, without necessarily informing them that most of my volunteering was over break. Does that seem like a risk worth taking?
And FYI, my volunteering hours were very low when I applied ~100. I am also going to include info about my dental trip to Guatemala that I will be taking in February. How long do you guys think it will take for the academic update to go through?
