Has anyone heard of this or done this? I called the college I am interested in with some prereq. questions. They said I could send in unofficial transcripts and they could do an evaluation on them. They would be able to tell me what I need or if the courses I have transfer. Is this a good idea or not? It sounds good but I just wanted to make sure first. THANKS!

i did it and i didn't have any problems but then again i ended up not applying to that school. i still think it's a good idea though simply bc you never know if you have all the pre-req and it's better to be safe than sorry. good luck!

This is pretty common, and I am doing it myself. One word of warning though - I read a post on these boards recently where somebody claimed they had this done, then had their app rejected since the school changed their mind regarding courses that could be waived. Make sure you get it in writing from the school if they agree to transfer/waive courses.
