Washington University offers interviews to 30% of their applicants who complete secondaries. It is much higher for applicants with a MCAT of 521.Washington University seems like a very far reach, since according to MSAR I'm below the median for the MCAT and I'm not even in the 25 percentile with my GPA. Shouldn't I apply to a reach that my stats at least somewhat fit? (I put Yale down for this reason)
Edit: I was looking at Washington in St.Louis, my bad. Thank you for the school suggestions!
You can aim higher than Toledo and UWV. Brown highly favors their own UGs.Add all NYC Titans, Stanford, WashU,Hey everyone!
I have been having trouble coming up with a good school list for my stats. I'm not sure how many top tier, middle tier or low tier schools I should be applying for and any advice would be greatly appreciated

- Sophomore Adviser for the University Honors program. Helped organize a curriculum for the University Honors Freshman Seminar course and lead that seminar course for that year's freshman class ~ 230 hours (1 year)

Since I'm from Texas, I'm going to apply to all of the Texas schools including Baylor. The other schools on my list right now are:
Yale, Duke, Brown, Pittsburgh, Boston, Albert Einstein, Case Western, Dartmouth, West Virginia, Toledo, Stony Brook, Hofstra, and Vermont.
I want to try and have 25-30 schools, but right now I'm at 20. As much I would love to apply to more top tier schools, I know that my stats aren't that great, so advice on how to make a well rounded school list would be greatly appreciated.
