Hello all...I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem. I took some real estate classes at my college, so I could become a licensed real estate agent. There were 4, 3 hour classes and I got B's in all of them. Right now, they are pulling my average GPA down. Does anyone know if the dental schools that I will be applying to will look at these as normal courses? It just so happened that I took these classes at my current college, and not another place in town that offers them. If you think they will be averaged in, is there anything I can do to dispute the fact that they are not related to anything? Thank you so much for your help!

I doubt u could dispute over those classes. If your BCP/Science GPA is strong, then u shouldnt have a problem.
I dont think i would worry your 4Bs' as much as adcom may want to know why you applied for a real estate agent license and decide to change career.

If they are on your transcript then they are on your transcript and there isn't anything you can do about them.

As far as pulling your GPA down, I don't see how 4 courses, like the previous poster, could pull your GPA down even a significant amount. Especially since you got Bs in them!

You have to have a minimum of 90 credits to apply, and 4 courses just aren't weighted heavily enough to do much damage.

I think you'll be fine.

i agree with Gavin. Besides, they're not science classes...and i'm also assuming your GPA is really high, since B's will "significantly" take down your GPA. since your GPA is high, im assuming your BCP will be high...so chill, take it easy...and good luck...
