I have a UofM interview soon and to those who have already gone, how was it life. The interview feedback information were all from last year and I would like to know how it went this year? What kind of questions did they ask? how many interviews? was it one on one? Was it laid back or stressful? and anything else you'd like to add..Thanks!! its greatly appreciated 😀

same thing as years before, but I didn't have to do an essay. Everyone's really nice, just be yourself and don't worry.

In addition to a tour and the usual administrative presentations, Michigan holds multiple mini interviews (mmi). You will interview with 10 different people and they will pose various scenarios that you will respond to (they are of the ethical nature). Not too stressful.

Yeah there are 10 multiple mini interviews. I think 2 of the interviewers are admissions committee members and then there are some student interviewers, a communications interviewer, faculty, and a dentist or something. You have 8 minutes at each station and they expect you to talk the ENTIRE time. At my first station I didn't talk the whole time and the interviewer said "Good job, but too short." After the 8 minutes you go to a "wait station" for 2 minutes while they take notes.
And you are so busy talking and making sure that you cover everything that you can't be too stressed out.
The interviews seemed to take FOREVER, but it was fun. The opening icebreaker activity was fun too!
Good luck!
