Hey everyone,
I got a call from UOP saying that I got off the waitlist so I think i'll probably be going there 🙂 Anyone else?
Also, any news on the housing and parking lottery?

I have my deposit there for alternate...I hope I never get off it so i can get my money back :wink:
UOP is a great school...just too close to home for me 🙂

I asked UOP a little while back and I got the impression that you can get your money back anytime as long as they haven't accepted you. Did they tell you that they won't refund it until the class is set? man..they really suck if that's true!

Also, i'm giving up my seat at UPenn so hopefully you'll be hearing good news soon 🙂

yeah i think i only get it back if the class is full and I haven't been accepted, and if I am accepted and decline their offer I lose the 200 bucks as well 🙁

oh yeah and the deposit is just to humor my parents since they really want me to go there....

hehe I need one more spot for my b/f for U Penn otherwise I'm staying at Columbia! (or UCLA if I get in)...

I am so happy you know where you're going...doesn't it make it so much easier? No more waiting game...

Stargirl, did you say your deposit was only $200 for UOP? Man..they made me pay a thousand! I'm so poor now (but that's a whole other issue🙂

The waiting game isn't over for me quite yet though b/c I'm still waiting for ucla like you. I wish they would speed things up down there..

mmm yeah I thought it was weird because my friend's deposit for UOP's alternate was 1000 too (but he didn't pay)... I thought he was mistaken so I never bother to ask him about it...
maybe if your deposit was 1K you are on the top of the alternate list......
I really don't know, I don't think I would have paid if it was 1K....

so you'll go to ucla over UOP? ug that's a ton of money you're losing... (i guess I am too if I end up going to ucla... 750 for temple, 1K for Columbia and 200 for UOP if i don't get it back)
