I know UOP requires 4 semesters of Biological Sciences.. but do they all have to have LAB!? The anatomy class that I was planning to take had a completely full lab section, so I could only get lecture. The class is only offered in the fall and summer.

Also, UOP requries that we finish all the requirements before matriculation.. and since the summer course goes from 6/26 to 8/18, i'm wondering when does UOP start their year? I know early since they cram everything into 3 years..

Thanks!

This year UOP classes begin on Friday, July 7th. As for the question about the need for the lab for Anatomy? I would suggest you call, it gives you a reason to talk to someone in admissions and get to know them.

They do require 4 labs bio related lab classes, they can be integrated into the course or have a separate component. The best thing would be to give them a call and see if what you can do to finish out the pre-reqs. Maybe you can take a semester of a lab research for credit type class. You still have summer, fall, and spring semester to get everything done. In general, the admissions department has always been pretty helpful. I had a good experience with them when I applied.
