I just got the email, as it seems a lot of people have from UOP saying your application is under official review. Did people who got interviews from UOP get this email as well?
Just wondering because I was in the 7/4 mail date and got an email from them saying my application was complete mid July. thanks

hey i got that email too. u think its only sent to those that will receive interviews tomorrow?? LOL i have similar DAT and GPA like you 🙂 o and you went to the simulation course this year? me too!

I looked through a bunch of old threads from previous years and the update/e-mail don't appear to be an indication of an interview.

I wish it was because UOP is tied for my #1 choice.

I never received an e-mail stating my application was under official review. The first e-mail I received from them was that they received payment for their portion of the application process (06/22). Approximately 3 weeks later I received a second e-mail saying my application was complete and that I could check the status of it on their website (07/18). Then on 08/31 I received a phone call from admissions to choose a date for the interview followed by an e-mail with details on my interview date.

They probably just got around to sending out that email even though they should have sent it out weeks ago.

Yeah, I couldn't find much about the e-mail we got today and an Executive Admissions Committee. They start talking about the "7-8 Weeks" update after post #23 but I guess it's better than nothing.

Thats a year old.

i have the same email...i guess it means i dont get an invite n its a bs way to say hey we arent rejecting u just yet (im hoping im very very very wrong n get a phone call tomm )

I went through my emails from last year and I didn't get a we are review email and got denied. But I also never a status update email(the one that says to go to their portal)

So I think its best to consider that it is just a neutral message. UOP simply may be doing a new thing so people don't hammer their servers everyday checking their status.

people in batches after mine got interviews...i feel like they left my batch already =(

I just submitted my app yesterday, then got that email literally a few hours later. So I'm pretty sure it isn't a rejection or any indication of that, unless they reviewed all of my application in a few hours😀 Guess we'll have to wait and see though!

You have 7 interviews already! I think you will be ok. Plus you said you have a lot more schools!

You have 7 interviews already! I think you will be ok. Plus you said you have a lot more schools!

uop is still my top choice..3rd time applying im hoping to atleast get an interview at the very least from them =( i would be sooo happy if i get an acceptance...

If you get an interview this year you get to go to UOP. Worst thing that can happen is you get wait-listed and if you don't get in this year you get in next year automatically.

I got the e-mail. I read in the other post about this (from this cycle) that some people that got that e-mail got the interview call. Don't lose hope.

looking from last year's thread, it seems 70%+ of the people who got the 7-8 weeks email all had UoP interviews scheduled after december 1st , but it does seem they all did have an interview, unless there's anyone that got the email last year and did not get an interview call?

Well, that's disappointing to hear on a bright Friday morning. I'm not mentally prepared to go through the waiting list game for the next 10 months. I'm pretty sure I'll choose my best offer on Dec 1st 🙂xf🙂 and get over with it. On the plus side, I am going to stop staring at my phone🙂

From looking at predents and SDN I have a feeling they are still not done sending out interviews. Just a feeling but who knows. They don't interview that many, but a lot of people do chose not to go to UOP because of cost. SO they do do a lot of post dec 1st interviews.

One thing I noticed is that, all the people who got this7-8 weeks review status are out of state.. Maybe I am missing someone but all those who were from CA got an interview no OOS

They said that email was just suppose to be sent out a long time ago and to get people to stop calling. But she said it is true for some people that applied later, but if you applied early it will be like normal, they looked at your app already and blah blah.

They offered that Monday but I have anatomy lab that day and don't want to miss. Also I have AT Still Tuesday the 25th and UNLV on the Friday before the 21st. Busy week.

I have 3 interviews scheduled for the first two weeks of Nov., another one in mid Oct. My mailing date was 7/18. I'm hoping to get an early booking IF I get an invitation...

My interview is set for October 6th. I'm a CA resident and never received one of those status update emails.
