Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows how many spots are open at this point at UOP? Any info would be great. Thank you!

I heard number from one of the UOP officials that about 60%
75+ students have offered a seat but do not know how many
have accepted yet! Please do not ask me the name of the official!

UOP is three years. Starting salary is around $130,000.
Even if one gets $100,000 for firs year, i think you are still ahead!

By the end of March, its all filled. After initial acceptances,
UOP is very careful anad do not want to be in the same
position as NYU was in last year. Actually, during my interview,
they were saying this year they may fill it up by middle of March
and then wait until all deposits are in. The deposits do not
guarentee them the final acceptance. I think they also have a
back up list and if they accept somebody towards the end,
they do not give 45 days to accept. I hope you get in. I am sure
they want the people who really want to come there.

*Edit* I accidentally originally posted about UoP class of 2008 when I actually meant 2007. Sorry if I caused any confusion. These fingers just type "2008" automatically now...but you UoP people are lucky to be graduating in just 3 years! That's great!

I was told that the UoP class of 2007 is currently at its capacity and therefore they are currently interviewing alternates for the class. (At least, that's what Warren Chang told me when they contacted me about scheduling an interview a few days ago.)

Just a small clarification.

Interviews are for the class of 2007. Not 2008. It's a 3 year program.

Thanks, everyone, you are all so nice and supportive. I have an interview coming up soon at UOP and am crossing my fingers that it is for an actual (not alternate!!) postion.

I just canceled a UOP interview this morning for Feb 26th if anyone wanted to move theirs around!
