Does anyone know if there is a big gap between interview dates for UOP?

I called today to set up my interview time, and was told Nov 11th was the next date. Unfortunately, I can't make it because I'm flying down to LA for USC's interview. So, I asked for the next date and was given Jan 13th. That's a two-month gap!

I'm wondering if it's fully-scheduled between Nov 11th and Jan 13th, or if UOP just taking a big break.

Is there someone out there with an interview date between Nov 11th and Jan 13th?

Most likely it's a big gap since we have finals right after Thanksgiving and that means...no one on Campus for interviews.

Expect invites to be sent 2-3 weeks before these interview dates.

I interviewed on 10/21 and they told us we would receive the acceptance/denial letters "by Christmas". Do you know when exactly the ad com will sit down and make their decisions? Thanks for all the info!

When I interviewed two years ago, Veronica told us acceptance/denial letters would be sent out approximately 3 weeks after interviews. She was pretty much right since my letter came about 3 weeks after I had my interview. It all depends on when the adcom meets and decides who to accept and who deny. I don't know when the adcom will be meeting up again.

Between then and now, I have participated in several extracurricular activities that I would like the admissions committee to consider when evaluating my application. It would be pointless to send if the ad com already had their meeting but since I'm not sure, maybe I'll just send one anyway.

I wouldn't bother with sending an updated resume. If you send one, then it has to be processed (your file has to be found, it has to be updated, etc). More than likely, the adcom would not look at the resume (I'm assuming) since you've already had the interview. If you've gone to the interview, there must have been something they liked. The interview is pretty much the last step to seperate you from the rest of the applicants.

The interview would have been the best oppurtunity to talk about your updated resume. Though your application had been submitted, including resume, the interview would have been a perfect place to discuss what you've done since you've submitted your application.

I was trying my best to "sell" myself but the interviewers seemed to have their own agenda (filling those green and white forms). 😉

I just received a letter yesterday. My application was officially completed on September 6th. I have been checking the website non-stop and it did not give me an indication that an interview invitation had been sent. I hope to get an early date for an interview!

i wanna think that..but i got my letter saying my application was complete a couple weeks ago.

Congratulation on your interview. When did you turn in the PHARMCAS and supplemental for UOP? When did they let you know "your file is being processed"? Gosh, I felt so bad now since I haven't heard from ANY school yet. Thanks.

wow...i hope to get something from them soon. i turned in my stuff around the same time. what were your stats?

by 'pchk' i meant on the page you can check your status (www.uop.edu/admission/pharmd) it had a subcategory of pchk office. mine didnt get a date next to it till late last week.

My pharmcas cumulative GPA is 3.86. No PCAT...too lazy. Patient care and a little bit of pharmaceutical care experience..research..community service...leadership...hmm...i guess that's it ...As for the PCHK thing...i still do not have any idea what that means. Just keep checking your mail!

I think PCHK means preliminary check, but I have no idea what PINT means.

The next interview date for UOP is January 13th. I received my letter on November 12th. I guess I missed the last one for November... Maybe I'll see some of you guys there!

PINT = preliminary INTerview???

Just guessing, but my PINT date corresponds with the day I interviewed.
