Hi ,

I was scheduled for an interview at UOP on March 16,17 and 18. Today I got a call from Ms. Patricia King saying that all seats are full and if I do want to come I can come and attend the interview but if I get accepted than i will placed on alternate list..

I am shocked...Did anyone else get the call. andAre you guys still attending..

I received a call from UOP today but i wasnt home. i have been told to call them back.
This is really shocking!!! I am going to make sure i get back my deposit.

i was scheduled too and i got a call saying the same thing,was very sad after i heard that,i mean ,how can they do that after raising our hopes?now i will have to go to the interview with the result already known,that if selected i will be in the waiting list.and to top it all there r people already in the waiting list and we will be wayyy down.she also told me that they have a rule that does not allow them to tell how low or high we r on the list,great so that's all the more frustrating,we won't have a clue of anything!uop was my only hope coz that's the only place i applied to and now i know i'm not getting in.well,another year of waiting and waiting......

Hi Giffy & Shree,

This is so frustrating....I dont know what to do...I called and asked if it is possible that theyhb can hold our seat for next year...but they are not sure...

I dont know now if its worth attending the interview.

Can you guys ( Shree) also call and ask if there is any alternative.

i just wanted to let you all know that my friend interviewed for the waiting list at UCLA and was ultimately accepted. So it's better to take your chance than to give up hope. But she was in the regular program. She got the call from UCLA a week before classes started. So there is hope. Thought I should let you know that a chance does exist.

Thanks for giving us Hope and encouragement.....I really wish some Miracle happens for everyone and they get into the schools of their choice...
