anyone hear anything from UOP lately?

I think they just sent out 2nd round of invitations.

It's sooo hard to wait for UoP. I've heard they call, so I'm trying to strike this balance between making sure my phone is always on and not turning into a neurotic mess and putting it around my neck so that I have it 24/7. You know, in case they decide to call at like eleven at night. Just want to be prepared ya know?

The bad thing about UOP is that they won't review your application until they have all your 3 letters. One of my professors was so lazy to send my LOR. On the other side, it takes about two weeks for AADSAS to send the letters once they get it. Anyway, my application ended up being on hold for a month at UOP, becuase they had two LORs and not three. They finally got my 3rd letter 2 days ago, and my application got back to "under review". Uhhhhh

UOP will always call first. Don't stress, as of last monday, they've only given out interview invites to about 35 students. There are well over 100 more spots in the class even if they took all 35. The process of review is a slow one.

Really?? That's such a relief! I assumed that far more people were invited based on the number on predents; I didn't realize that fully half of the people who applied would update their predents haha.

Fingers crossed..

what happens if they call and you miss it? (for any school) 😕

They will leave a message and tell you the earliest dates available for interview. Just for your info, UOP doesn't not block their ID, so if you see a 415 area code, it might be them. Good luck.

Hey guys, I got my UOP interview by phone call a few weeks ago. The lady called me but didnt get a hold of me so she emailed me. She gave me the dates and told me to call back to speak with her and set up an interview date. She was really nice, so yea they call you first and dont worry if u miss it they send you an email.

My file is underreview for almost 6 weeks...anything wrong??? I feel bad now!

mine's been under review for 8+ weeks. just hoping i hear something from them in next 2 weeks or so, i understand it gets busy now.

Yep, same deal here. Mine has been in review for over 8 weeks now also...

osmosis could you tell us when your app was received by uop? Thanks

I sent in my AADSAS May 28th, but didnt take the DAT til July 18th (+2 weeks for processing). But it still got there before they started reviewing apps. And since its rolling admissions, it means the earlier ur AADSAS application was submitted the earlier they make a decision for interview invites on ur file.

Yea, that sounds about right. My application was submitted on May 20, and I got an invite from UoP in mid-August. It really DOES matter when you submit for a lot of schools=P

I submitted my AADSAS July 4th and I got my interview call Sept 16th to interview on Oct 16th.

Just got my schedule, looks like I'm interviewing people on 10/27 and 11/20. Anyone going to be there on those dates?

You get interviewed by current students at UoP? 😱

There's a formal one-on-one interview with a faculty member and a time allotted for "student interview" I heard its more of a conversation though.

do you go to UOP?

Depends on the student, it's really up to us what we do. Given the fact that 97% of students interviewed receive acceptances, I'm not sure it really matters how formal either interview is though.

Just for fun, when I interviewed here the faculty member didn't even ask me a single question. He spent the whole time telling me how great Pacific and SF were.
